Born and raised in California, Sharon received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Disorders and Sciences with an emphasis in Deaf Education and Audiology from California State University at Northridge. She then moved to the northwest to pursue her education. She moved to Missoula in 2001 and married her husband, Chris, who is a native Missoulian. Sharon lives with her husband, mother, son and Puppy in Missoula.
Sharon enjoys working with children specifically and has a passion for helping people with disabilities. She worked with Sue Toth for the Hearing Conservation Program for 12 years, which involved working with the schools across five counties in Western Montana.
As a self-proclaimed humanitarian, Sharon volunteers time at St. Joseph School by leading the Thanksgiving food donations, helping in the classroom and contributing to Missoula Catholic Schools Foundation programs. She also belongs to the Daughters of the Nile and their efforts contribute to the children at the Shrine Hospitals.
In her spare time, Sharon enjoys traveling and golfing together with her family and friends.
